These are a life saver or a house saver. 6 times these little water detector saved our house from damage. 3 times different guests at our house left a window upstairs open wth a storm coming. We have them at each window and each time they alerted us of rain coming in. Once during a roof repair the carpenter dropped his nail gun from the roof. He did not realized he had hit and cracked the outside faucet which caused flooding indoor. The leak dectector went off instantly. Saved our home, another time the hot water tank started leaking. Since it was hot water leaking, making steam in the laundry room, the dectectors next to the washer dryer also went off do to much moisture in the air. I LOVE these inexpensive home savers.
