These alkaline batteries compare favorably to Duracell, Energizer and Eveready.What's great about them?1. They are long lasting. I've used some that were over six years old and they were still good.2. The price. At 27-cents a battery, they are a bargain when compared to the name brands.3. I've never had any of them leak on me.Anything that could be improved?1. The box I received had a "Best By Date" of 9/27. Which is only four years away. I would have preferred a "Best By Date" of 9/30 — which is seven years out. ?Additional Info:I used to buy Sunbeam batteries at my local dollar store. But they recently stopped stocking them. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find them here on Amazon. While there are lower-priced alkaline batteries available on Amazon, I have yet to find one that can top the Sunbeam brand. They are by far the best "bang for the buck" battery you can buy.Are Duracell, Energizer and Eveready alkaline batteries better than Sunbeam? Yes, slightly. But when you consider that the others are more than double the price — Sunbeam wins hands down at .27 cents per "AAA" battery — when purchased in a pack of 48.* So, even though Sunbeam batteries don't last quite as long as the name brand ones, the lower price makes them by far the better deal.*(Energizer .58 cents per battery, Duracell .74 cents per battery, Eveready .76 cents per battery.
